If so, now is the time to be meeting with a real estate professional and putting together a plan so that come Spring, you are ready to hit the ground running.

Over the years I’ve found that whenever I’m able to sit down with a client ahead of time, whether they are buying or selling, we are able to discuss the process so they are educated on what to expect, and can prepare themselves (and their current home if they are selling) for the move.

I’ve found this to be ten times less stressful for clients because they don’t feel as overwhelmed, and know what to expect as they begin the process of actually buying or selling (or both).

When it comes to updating/adding/renovating your home, it’s usually good to take into account what styles are becoming popular and keep in mind what the changes will do to your home’s value. Some changes could increase value, some could decrease value, so talking to an expert regarding what your plans are, is often a good idea.

With that said, at the end of the day it’s your home, and if what you want to do to it will make your experience living there more enjoyable, you may see it worthwhile regardless of how if affects your home’s value…and that works too! 2 Homeowner Tip! If you’re curious as to what’s been happening in Nashua and around southern NH, I have you covered.

Remember…

A BUYER’S MARKET is when there are more homes available than buyers looking.
A SELLER’S MARKET is when there are more buyers looking than homes available.

In general, it’s a seller’s market if inventory is adequate for 5 months (or less) worth of sales. If you have 5 to 7 months of inventory, you have a balanced market, and anytime you have more than seven months’ worth of inventory, you’re in a buyer’s market.

🏠In terms of current listings for instance, there are only 41 single families and condos for sale in Nashua right now, which is extremely low.

This way the items are usually much smaller on scale and you’re able to do them gradually over time. Putting them off for years and years, and then trying to make up for it a couple weeks before listing your home for sale will only create immense stress to your life and often not all the work ends up getting done.

“Sam just helped us close on our first house. I had such a pleasant experience working with him. Personally i find him to have expert knowledge and understanding of different stages in the buying process. Therefore we were able to find the best house that fits out needs and budget quickly and effectively. I would recommend Sam for anyone looking to buy a house weather you are a first time or an experienced buyer!”
